Belizean Cove Estates

We spent a week here with friends and it exceeded our expectations by a mile. The pool is spectacular, and the well-kept property has a friendly, attentive staff. We stayed in Villa Sole Mate and highly recommend it.

This is a comfortable place to find some peace and disconnect, with all the action only a short ride away if you want it. Golf carts are available on-site to rent. You can book tours here, and they pick you up from the property pier. There’s a small grocery store a 2 minute ride across the street, and full kitchens make it easy to prepare food. Bring your own k-cups for the keurig and you’re set.

The amenities here are incredible: kayaks, bikes, a beautiful pool area, and great customer service. Villa Sol Mate had very comfortable beds and a balcony that was perfect for coffee while watching the sunrise. There was lots of really good food nearby and plenty to explore a short distance away. We went to Secret Beach, made a quick day trip to Caye Caulker, and spent a full day around the pool. You know you’ve hit the vacation jackpot when you arrive to beautiful trees and flowers, a white sand drive, fountains, and a breathtaking ocean view. I’ll definitely stay at Villa Sol Mate again!

On our second stay at Villa Sol Mate, it was just as amazing as the first. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and it comfortably fit 3 couples, each with their own bathroom. The staff and locals were so kind and friendly. We rode bikes, kayaked, and went spearfishing, then took a catamaran to Caye Caulker, stopping to snorkel and swim with nurse sharks. The weather was amazing both times, and the water was crystal clear. There are plenty of places to eat, all a golf cart ride away. Farmhouse had great coffee and breakfast, and The Truck Stop was a fun place at night.
