The spot is spectacular, far enough from town to feel away from it but right in the middle for getting to Secret Beach and places north. The resort handled all the wedding logistics, and the staff even worked extra hard clearing seaweed from the beach, which plagues the island. The accommodations were out of this world, the people were amazing, and the service was phenomenal. My wife keeps asking when we can return after our December 2025 wedding at Las Terrazas. It made an exotic, once-in-a-lifetime trip feel as easy as a summer trip to the shore. Belize may be the perfect destination, and Las Terrazas is as close to a perfect place to stay as you can get. Also, if you've wanted a destination wedding but worried about the price, look into Belize. It cost far less than I'd budgeted. It's a short flight from the US, they take US currency, and they speak English. What have you got to lose?

The pool is beautiful and made a nice place to unwind after a day out. The hotel's about 20 minutes from both downtown and Secret Beach, so getting around was easy while still having some peace and quiet. Being away from downtown's bustle made the stay calm and refreshing. The food and drinks were very good, though definitely expensive. The convenience and quality made them worth it for us, but it's something to keep in mind. A relaxing spot with a nice balance of access and tranquility.

We loved our five days here as a family of five. The three-bedroom apartment was spacious and newly remodeled, and the food was great at every meal. The reception staff and restaurant attendants were friendly and attentive, and Joel especially took care of everything we needed. We arranged activities through the hotel and it all went smoothly. The one bad moment was with manager Byron, who was rude and dismissive when we pointed out a mistake in our golf cart rental. He didn't try to understand the issue or find a solution. The rest of the staff made up for it, and I'd love to return, hopefully without seeing him there.

We only meant to have lunch, but ended up spending the afternoon. Beverly was our waitress and the absolute best, friendly, efficient, and so knowledgeable. Her recommendations were all hits. The food and drinks were great, and everyone at the resort was nice. After the day there, we all said we'd stay here next time.

The pool and grounds were pristine, and the beach was lovely. We appreciated the 24/7 security at the road entrance and the washer and dryer in our room. The resort is a good size, with an uncrowded, serene pool and beach. It's just outside the bustle but not so far north that town is out of reach for dinner. Still, for the room price, the restaurant felt like price gouging: there's a 25% service fee and 12% tax before tip. The airport transfer was $45, and hotel golf carts were $80 a day. We easily found one elsewhere for $35 a day, with free delivery and pickup.
