I had such a good stay at Ramon's a year ago with a dive buddy that I brought eight friends back this year. All of us just returned having thoroughly enjoyed it. Ramon's is beautiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s food was an adventure of its own. We loved the hot stone dinner with chicken, beef, and shrimp. The Steve and Becky's rooms were good value and a fun setup for our group to stay together. After diving, we’d visit in the little pool area, which we called our decompression pool. The dive operation was outstanding. Rick, the dive manager, worked our plans into the week, fitting in the Blue Hole, Turneffe Reef, and a night dive along with the regular dives. When it was too windy to dive the usual reef area, he even arranged a day of snorkeling at Hol Chan and Key Caulker. The diving was amazing, with lots of sharks, turtles, and eels, plus a dolphin, and fascinating terrain underwater. Our divemaster Juan was the best. We’ll ask for him again when we return, and we’ll definitely be back!

I had a great time at Ramons and would come back if I felt like diving again. I booked a dive package through PADI, and everything went smoothly. The diving was great, with the boats leaving right from the pier, so it was easy to wake up, have breakfast, and head out. The staff were friendly and laid back, and the front desk team treated me like a VIP, which made the trip even better. There are plenty of comfy places to lounge, including hammocks and a nice central pool where people can mingle. The restaurant had some good dishes, especially the shrimp tacos, which were so good. There’s a grocery store close by too. Nothing special, but handy for essentials if you forgot anything. Thanks, Ramons!

The staff made us feel more like family than guests. Kian, Axcel, and the rest of the team took time to learn our names and check in throughout the stay. Nate the Great looked after all our in-resort needs, Dennis from the dive crew made our day on the water unforgettable, Donny and Jose B were fantastic with the carts, and Jose at the front desk made everything smooth. The team deserve all the recognition, they left a lasting impression and we can’t wait to come back. Roman’s Village made everything feel easy. Dock access, diving, snorkeling, fishing, golf cart rentals, private boat charters, and excursions were all close at hand and reasonably priced through the resort. The rooms were clean, the food was outstanding, hammocks on the beach were a nice extra, and beach massages made the stay even better. Beautiful views and relaxing island vibes, with staff working hard every day to make things great for guests. 10/5 STARS!!! It went beyond every expectation. Roman’s Village is an experience full of warmth, adventure, and relaxation, with people who really care about making your trip unforgettable. We already can’t wait to return!

Walking through the jungle to the dock and straight onto the boat each morning was simple and easy. Rent a golf cart if you want to explore San Pedro. We’ll be back, thanks Ramon's! The resort is beautifully woven into San Pedro’s tropical surroundings, and it feels unlike anywhere else in town. My main shoutout goes to Andy C, dive master supreme, who took wonderful care of me and three friends during our 7 day dive vacation. He made our dives special, joyful, and magical while keeping us exceptionally safe. The Blue Hole trip and night diving were especially fun. Thank you Dive Master Andy!!!

The diving was excellent once we got on the boat, and the property itself feels like a beach paradise. Our room was clean when we checked in, and the restaurant food was good, though the staff there seemed annoyed to be working. Waking up to bugs on my pillow was unpleasant. The front desk staff were dismissive when I raised it, saying it’s the tropics, the termites are their pets, they’re harmless, and they sleep with them all the time. It was a very mixed stay, and if we return to dive, I’ll look at other places to stay.
