There’s a bar downstairs, and on some nights the music goes on until 2 a.m.

I’d really like the owners to read this and make some changes. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, the AC didn’t work, and there were cockroaches. Kids running through the halls made a lot of noise, and I could go on. I think you get the picture.

Beware of this company. A month after we hired a buggy from the hotel, they charged 455 Belize dollars to the card we’d paid with. After several calls, the hotel manager, we think, admitted there was a problem and said he’d refunded it. We waited 15 hours, but nothing came through. When we called again, he said he was going to the bank to make the refund and took our WhatsApp number so he could send the receipt. Nothing arrived. We called again five minutes later, and he hung up after saying he was at the bank. He couldn’t explain why the card had been used, why they still had our details, or who was on duty when the transaction happened. His story kept changing, first he said the refund was done, then the next day he said he was at the bank doing it. They’re fraudulent. Don’t use this hotel for any services!

It’s a wonderful location, but the place was incredibly dirty and smelled terrible. We checked in, lasted about an hour, then decided we couldn’t handle it and left. I asked for a refund, and the manager begrudgingly gave back half. I feel terrible leaving a bad review, but this place is one to avoid. I really hope they hire better staff and clean it up.
