We had a great time here as a group of eight. The staff were friendly and knew us all by name. Since I have a gluten intolerance, I appreciated how attentive they were and that they offered me several gluten-free options during our stay. I wouldn't change a thing.

The people made my 10-day stay at Laru Beya feel especially memorable. The staff were attentive, kind, and helpful from arrival through the whole visit, and their warmth made me feel cared for and like I belonged. It felt like more than just good service. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful, a lovely place to unwind. The location and amenities made it easy to enjoy Belize without stress. I'm grateful for my time there and would recommend Laru Beya to anyone wanting a peaceful, beautiful, welcoming stay.

The gardens were lovely, and it felt safe walking in and around the resort. Staff welcomed us from the start and went out of their way to help, organizing shuttles, diving lessons, and all our trip planning. The food was great, with new specials each night. Our room could use a bit of an upgrade, but the bed was amazingly comfortable. We had a fantastic stay at Laru Beya.

From the airport welcome through our last day, Laru Beya's team exceeded every expectation. The whole staff seemed to remember our preferences and likes across shifts, not just our names. I've had great customer service before, but this team's was world class.

Our gluten-free vegan meals were fantastic every time, and we found ourselves looking forward to dining. The team at Laru Beya went above and beyond to meet our needs, and anticipated whatever else we might need. They were authentically friendly and made us feel at home. The room was beautiful and clean. There were games and things to do around the grounds, which still felt quiet and serene. Being only a short golf cart ride from Placencia was a big plus. We had an amazing time and would recommend Laru Beya without hesitation. We hope to return someday.
