Blue Bay Beach Villas

The owner of Villa 18 was easy to reach and helped us sort out everything, even finding us a rental car when almost all the rental places were sold out. The property manager gave us a detailed tour and shared useful information and recommendations that helped us plan our time exploring Curaçao. We had a lot of fun following them. The villa is only a 3-minute walk from Blue Bay and close to the pool, with the ocean visible in the distance. It was clean, nicely furnished, and had plenty of amenities. We could just enjoy the balcony and our family vacation without worrying about much. One of the best places we’ve stayed in Curaçao.

We’ve had two lovely family stays here. There’s plenty of room and comfort in both the villas and apartments, with lots of things that suit a family group. The beachside restaurant serves good quality food at a good price. The margaritas are well made and the beers come cold, though ask for plenty of ice in the bucket. I’d recommend it, and I’d happily come back next time we’re in Curacao.

We had a great stay in Villa 23, Lower Unit, from Jan 27, 2023 to Feb 25, 2023. The grounds were clean, the pool area was nice, and it was about a 3-minute walk to the beach. The location worked really well. Inside, the villa was clean, though a little dated, with three bedrooms, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and a roomy family area with a TV and entertainment apps. The kitchen had a large fridge, conventional microwave, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, cookware, dishes, glasses, and cutlery for six. There was a large ceiling fan in the kitchen and family room, and we didn't need AC there. Two bedrooms had queen beds and full bathrooms; the third had twin beds and a nearby two-piece bathroom. All bedrooms had AC and ceiling fans. A washing machine was included too. The patio was spacious, with a BBQ, large dining table, loungers, a sofa, and three ceiling fans. The main issue was being underneath another unit. Noise carried loudly through the wooden decking above, and chairs being dragged sounded like thunder. Dirt and water also fell through the gaps onto our deck and table, and conversations from above could be loud. Inside the villa, noise wasn't a problem. Next time I’d choose an upper unit. I’d stay in the village again, just not downstairs. Water and hydro are billed separately by meter. We paid $180 US for the month, using AC only in two bedrooms at night and not during the day.

The villas have three bedrooms and a large veranda, and they’re right by the beach with a nice pool nearby. Guests can walk to the beach and use the sunbeams for free. There’s also a great bar and restaurant. This is easily the best option in Blue Bay, a great place.
