Clayburn Village Bed and Breakfast

I had a delicious latte, and my son really liked his frozen yogurt. There are loads of candy choices, including lots of British and Dutch ones. Such a lovely, historic business, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. As someone who used to run a small business myself, I appreciate places like this so much.

Those scones are such a good surprise, soft, full of flavor, and honestly some of the best I've had. The shop has a classic old-time candy store feel, and everything's fresh and carefully stocked. I've been coming here since I was a kid, when the giant lollipop seemed like the ultimate prize. Visiting still brings back so many memories. Whenever I'm nearby, I make sure to stop in.

We enjoyed tea and coffee with delicious scones, with jam and cream cheese on the side. Trisha, the owner, has been baking for 39 years, since they bought the place in 1987. She's a fascinating, hardworking person with plenty of stories. The shop carries candy from all over the world and will gift wrap it if you ask. Definitely visit if you're in the Abbotsford area.

There’s so much variety here, and the atmosphere is really cool. Walking in feels like stepping back in time.
