At windswept, you can really stop and relax, whether you’re there with family or on your own. I loved waking up to such a beautiful view and unwinding in the hot tub with the view after a long day. It offers a much needed chance to slow down in the modern world. I believe everyone should visit, and I’d rate my experience 5/5 stars.

The Coachhouse was so nice and quaint, and I could walk around the property with my dog. It felt like a proper getaway while still being close to the city. There’s also a cool suspension bridge at Raney Gorge nearby. It’s a great place to relax, with Campellford or Hastings close enough for dinner, and the Provincial Park within reach for a hike.

The Coach House was comfortable and cozy, with a great bathtub and a really comfortable bed. We had a lovely weekend and I’ll be back. The owner was welcoming, knew a lot about the building and area, and even made us the best Dirty Gin Martini. Breakfast was AMAZING!, and there was plenty of outdoor seating, plus tables and benches. We enjoyed the deck, hot tub with its stunning view, and the canoes and kayaks. The Coach house is separate from the main house, so it feels like your own private cottage, with an amazing river setting and easy access. It’s not that far from Toronto, while still feeling remote. What more could you want?

I did my CPI training here. The space and the view were absolutely gorgeous. It gets chilly in the colder months, but it’s a fantastic spot for different kinds of events or a getaway.

We’ve booked the facilities here several times for corporate functions and plan to keep using them for all our events. It’s a great place to stay, too.
