Halifax Tower Hotel & Conference Centre, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Swimming in the warm pool while snow fell outside was so cozy and relaxing. The lobby also had unlimited coffee, tea, and sweet treats, a really thoughtful touch. Breakfast had a great selection, and Ric, the attendant, was warm and attentive. He kept everything stocked and checked that guests were comfortable. This was our second overnight stay at the Halifax Tower Hotel, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

Parking was included, and the price was extremely fair. The furnishings are great, the rooms roomy and beautiful, and everything felt modern, classy, and clean. The saltwater pool and included buffet breakfast were also excellent. Ric, the maître d, helped make sure breakfast was satisfying, and check-in was excellent. They even called after we reached the room to make sure everything was to our liking. We’ve tried the Muir, the Marriotts, and all the big-name luxury hotels in the Halifax region, and for us the Tower is night and day better. I’m very hard to please, but I can’t say enough good things.

The heated pool and hot tub are my favourites in the city, and the hotel is gorgeous, with huge rooms. There’s underground parking and lots of space to park above ground. Breakfast is included and was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had, served in a beautiful dining room. Ric is so accommodating in the breakfast room and makes sure you find what you need. They change up the available items, too. This place has been better than all my downtown stays. I recommend it to everyone, and nobody has ever left disappointed. Looking forward to staying again.

The hotel and room were beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and happy to help. At check-in, they praised the restaurant and gave me discount coupons, so I was excited to try it. It turned out to be closed for a staff function. That wasn’t a problem, but I’d suggest better communication so the staff knew about the closure.
