My two-night stay at Filmores was a letdown. The room itself was fine and the location convenient, but the service was unacceptable. Check-in took over 30 minutes while I was exhausted from traveling, and when I came back from dinner hours later, the guest behind me was still waiting to check in. While I waited, staff were unprofessional, swearing openly and making inappropriate comments. I don't usually leave reviews, but I wouldn't stay again and would tell others to think carefully before booking.

I had no idea the hotel had a strip club. If I'd done my research first, I might have discovered how rough the surrounding area is. It's probably the least salubrious part of Toronto. The bed was uncomfortable, I had to pay everything up front, and everything offered was the absolute bare minimum.

A pretty strange setup. The hotel shares its entrance with a gentleman's club, though it’s not far from the main attractions. My towel had been cut in half to make two towels, and the place could have been cleaner. Internet costs extra.

I was uneasy about the club downstairs before arriving, but the place turned out to be nice. The receptionists and cleaning staff were kind and quick to respond. There’s a vending machine, too. Just remember there’s a $50 deposit.
