Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Airdrie-Calgary North by IHG

The breakfast was the highlight for us, with great variety and everything prepared really well. The room and pool were spotless, and the receptionist was polite, so everything from check-in to cleanliness was incredible. Sometimes an expensive hotel still has a poor breakfast, but that wasn't the case here. My daughter loved the pool, and we'll definitely come back.

Manager Khitij Mehta deserves a special mention for his personal attention and hospitality. His care for guests made a real difference and reflects well on IHG. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming from arrival, with comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast, and great value. I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Airdrie–Calgary North by IHG, and I'll definitely return. Highly recommend it for a visit to Airdrie or Calgary North.

It's an inexpensive place to get some rest, not five-star luxury, and the staff are great, always smiling and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, but the property is older, so you can hear noise from the halls and from people above. I try to keep quiet for other guests, though others don't always do the same. Dogs are allowed on the second floor, so ask for a higher one if barking will bother you. Breakfast is basic, fine as fuel, but nothing special. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so expect to drive for dinner, though Airdrie has some decent food options.

The four of us barely slept because the AC was extremely loud, and we could hear the neighbours talking, walking, and even brushing their teeth. There was almost no privacy between the rooms, so the soundproofing needs work, and the AC unit should be changed. The amenities were good, though: the hotel was clean and new, the pool was well maintained and the kids loved it, and breakfast had lots of options.
