After hiking in the Saguenay Fjords, I took my wife here for dessert, and it was even better than we expected. The soft serve is amazing, with a variety of regional dips. Alexis was friendly, and he and his friend gave me tips on things to see around Lake Saint Jean and explained the different dips. Alexis told me that he and his brother wanted to turn the church into an ice cream shop, then add lodging for visitors. I love that entrepreneurial spirit, and I’m wishing them every success. Can’t wait to come back for more ice cream. A real hidden gem in Quebec!

The vanilla soft serve was delicious. I had a waffle cone with salted caramel dip, and there were lots of toppings to choose from, including mochi. Such a great use for a church building! We’d parked at the school next door while cycling on the Véloroute for three days, and this was the perfect treat to celebrate finishing our ride and trip.

The bed was so soft, which felt great after a long bike tour. The atmosphere is lovely, kind of wholesome-camp, and everyone working there was lovely too. I had ice cream twice during our stay.
