The spa services, wellness classes, food, and hospitality were all wonderful. The facility was clean, the staff kind and accommodating, and I especially loved the sound bath and yoga classes. My husband and I spent two nights at the Barton Cottage for our baby moon and Valentines day. Jim Corcoran surprised us with flowers to celebrate our first baby, which was so thoughtful. I’ve stayed here several times and always had a fantastic experience, but St. Annes went above and beyond for this special trip with my husband. We can’t wait to come back and celebrate more milestones together.

The food is one of the things I look forward to on every visit to Ste. Anne’s. The dishes are beautifully made and delicious, and really lift the whole stay. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with a homey feel, though another mirror would help. We only had one in the bathroom, which made getting ready tricky when it was occupied. The outdoor spa area is a real highlight. I’d suggest adding gentle spa music outside and in the sauna rooms, since complete silence with other people can feel awkward at times. A few discreet clocks in the common areas would also help guests who are trying to unplug from their phones but still need to keep track of treatments and meals. We had a lovely stay and are already looking forward to coming back. It’s such a special place to unwind and recharge, as always. The online booking system can be a little hard to navigate, but the staff on the phone made it easy. I could always reach someone, and they returned my voicemails promptly. Their attentiveness made a difference.

The food was excellent, with a great choice of dishes, and the staff were helpful. The aestheticians were friendly and could accommodate requests. Ste Anne’s spa is beautiful, and the grounds and old stone buildings still have charm in winter. Watch out for the ice, though, as some areas get quite slick. It was worth the drive, and I’d recommend it and go again. I took a star off because check-in was awkward. I arrived for the day and was waiting for my robe and bracelet when a birthday party came in shortly after me. Staff checked in the whole party and gave them robes before getting to me. I had to wait until someone noticed, since cutting in to say “hey, I was here first” while a group was being ushered ahead felt uncomfortable and unlike me. Then they had me join the party for the tour, which felt awkward for both me and them. I saw single guests get their own tours later, so I’m not sure what happened. If you’re travelling alone, it may be worth keeping in mind if you want a smooth check-in without an uncomfortable social moment.

My friends and I have been making this an annual trip for four years, and Ste. Anne’s keeps delivering. The warm, genuine service makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive, and the food is always delicious and high quality. It’s a gift to relax together in such a beautiful setting and disconnect from the world. Whether it’s your first visit or your fourth, they make you feel like family. A great place to hit the reset button.

Cora in reservations made booking really easy. She was so helpful and accommodating, and her kindness and professionalism set a lovely tone for the visit. Everything felt seamless and welcoming from the start. I had such a lovely experience and can’t wait to come back!
