Check-in was quick and the service was great. The hotel was clean, though otherwise pretty ordinary. My main issue was the large parking lot lights on the roof. They shine into the room at night and make it quite bright.

The young woman at reception was fantastic and really helpful. The room felt a little dated, though, and had a strong floral smell. Opening the window cleared it up. For a short stay, it’s not a bad place for the price.

The room was small, but after we got our luggage sorted out, it felt comfortable and was quiet. Breakfast was very good. We ate somewhere else because the on-site restaurant didn’t have an English menu.

The staff made the stay fantastic. I had trouble ordering a pizza because my French is very limited, and they placed the order for me. They also opened the lounge early since we had to leave very early. I’d booked for myself, my wife, and three children, but plans changed and it was just me and two children, so they lowered the rate for one adult. The room was very clean, WiFi was great, and it had a microwave and fridge. This was the best stay I’ve had in a long time. I’d absolutely stay again if I’m passing through Amos, and highly recommend it.

A clean room and comfortable bed made this a good place to sleep while visiting Amos in Abitibi. I do think they could use some queen beds instead of full-size ones. The air conditioning also kept cutting in and out.
