Breakfast was a real highlight, three courses with a choice of freshly cooked main, and heaps of food. I only wish it started a bit earlier. The inn has grand rooms and lovely shared spaces, including an outdoor deck, and reception can sell you beer or wine. Our room was huge, with a big bed and sitting area, and the heating worked well. There was only a shower, no bath, and the streetlight came through the curtains at night, so an eye mask would be useful. Reception was very helpful and offered to book us dinner at a nearby restaurant, especially handy since only two places in town were open on Sunday night. You can walk easily to town, the waterfront, the fort, and the gardens. I'd recommend it for a quiet stay in Annapolis Royal.

We spent a night at the Queen Anne Inn in late September while traveling around Nova Scotia. The room was comfortable, the food was top notch, and the staff were friendly. The place itself was beautiful and the service was great. No complaints at all, and we'd love to return if we get the chance.

We felt well looked after here, and breakfast was very good, a nice bonus. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the rooms had lots of space. Everything was elegant and quiet, with a beautiful look that made it feel like stepping back in time. We stayed in late August 2025 and would definitely come back.

The carriage room had a bath downstairs and a shower upstairs, plus a nice mini fridge. A mini freezer would've been welcome. Breakfast was included, with French toast and fresh berries or eggs on toast with smoked gouda, as well as freshly made blueberry scones and berry smoothies. Service was really friendly, and there's a cozy spot to read and relax. It's right down the street from Queen Anne Fort and near a great ice cream shop, with the great pub Whisky Teller not far away.

The decor fits the building's style, and while you shouldn't expect every modern hotel convenience, it has what you need. The rooms are comfortable, there's a large garden out back, and the breakfasts are great. It's also an easy walk to the main part of town and right beside the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens. A great place to stay!
