The coastal, small-town setting felt like something from a Nicholas Sparks book, and it’s hard to find places like this now. The hosts were a lot of fun and shared great stories. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade bread and butter. When our maternity photos nearby got cancelled, Beatrice arranged for a family member to meet us with just 10 minutes’ notice and take beautiful pictures by the water. We had a lovely stay, and I definitely recommend it.

We were weary travelers and weren’t there long enough to really enjoy the surroundings, but we were looked after so kindly. After we arrived late on the ferry from Maine, our hostess was there to welcome us and kindly offered some snacks. The location felt exotic, and the accommodations were fine. We had to leave early the next morning to pick up our RV, which we’d ferried to Newfoundland, and she was up early for us with coffee and breakfast treats. She really went out of her way to accommodate us. I was slow to write this review, but we had a great experience and would certainly stay again.

The room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and breakfast was great. We stayed for three nights in October at this wonderful place in a great location. If you get there after dark, watch for the street number before turning down the driveway.

We loved watching and listening to all the different birds in the beautiful outdoor setting. Beatrice and George made us feel right at home, and the home-cooked breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Thank you!

Our hosts offered helpful local advice and we had a lovely evening of interesting conversation. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped during our one-night stay in July. Breakfast was very good, and our hostess even made huge, delicious egg salad sandwiches for us to take on our excursion the next day. We'd recommend this place to anyone staying in the Pubmico area.
