Bar-B Inn

The beds seemed fairly clean and the bathroom was decent, though nothing special. But the drawers in our first room were full of garbage, so we asked to move. In the new room, there was an empty beer can in the nightstand. Someone made the beds after we left, but the rooms clearly weren't being cleaned properly. Check-in also took a while, and the AC was noisy. The motel is in a decent spot just off the highway.

The free breakfast was one of the best I've had at a motel or hotel, and it tasted great. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, which helped make up for some other issues. The AC was noisy, the toilet kept filling on and off, and the sink drain plugs were broken. When I opened the door, I saw a big brown stain, and there were scratches on the inside of the door, as if a large dog had been there. I hope the stain wasn't from the dog. I called ahead and was quoted a price, but the deluxe room cost $10 more when I arrived. I'm not sure how the cheaper rooms are. The breakfast picture kind of makes up for the floor in the room.

A quiet, clean, modern room at a cheap price. Great place to rest your head.

I spent four nights at the Bar B Motel in Assiniboia and was really pleased with the value. The rooms were fantastic, very clean, with fresh new linens on a comfortable King-size bed. The new decor was lovely too. The owners and staff were wonderful. The Bar was clean and service was excellent, and you can order great pizza there.
