Traffic from a slow wide load got us off the highway for the first time, and I'm glad we stopped. It's a hidden gem. Larry, who I assume is the person other reviews mention, has been there forever and was a fantastic host and cook. The burgers were spot on, and the potato salad was pretty good too. We'll add it to our stops next time through! 🙂

We stayed in one of the two little cabins beside the main lodge. It was super cute, and each cabin had its own restroom in the main building. The place is in a great spot on the way to Jasper, with a friendly owner and amazing burgers and potato salad.

I'd driven past for years before finally stopping in today. The menu is really limited, but the burgers are very good. The owner is a great guy. I'll be back.

I'd wanted to stop at the LOG INN for ages after seeing the signs before Avola advertising the 'best burger in the world'. Finally got the chance, and it didn't disappoint. The burger was great, the beer tasted good, and the owner was fantastic. Put it on your list, you'll be glad you did!
