The old barn was such a lovely spot to sit together, catch up, and get cozy with music and blankets. Dan also made an outdoor fire, and being under the stars in the fresh air made the weekend feel wonderfully wintry. I came with seven close friends for a girls' winter weekend. Our rooms were spacious, clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was a treat too, with homemade baking, fresh coffee and fruit, plus plenty of hot and cold choices. Jenn and Dan made us feel welcome and had clearly put care into the details. A perfect place to relax with friends.

The breakfast was a real highlight. There was plenty to eat, and the blueberry pancakes with warm blueberry jam were heavenly. I’m a keen baker and have been trying cranberry scones around Canada, and these were the best I’ve tasted on this trip. We were warmly welcomed, and the rooms were a good size, with comfortable beds and spotless bathrooms. Our family of five had a one night stay at The Auld Farm Inn while driving from PEI to Newfoundland. It was one of our favourite places on the trip, and we all wished we could stay longer. If we’re back this way, I’d happily use it as a base to explore the Cabot Trail properly.

The breakfast spread was great, and I enjoyed chatting with the hosts. I stopped for one night to break up the drive from Newfoundland to Halifax and wished I’d had more time. Beautiful property, comfortable room, and a super location. Highly recommend!

Jenn was so warm and welcoming that I felt more like a friend than a guest. Breakfast was homemade, hot, and there was plenty of it. The room was immaculate and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. This was my first stay at Auld Farm B and B, and it was a wonderful experience. We usually come once a season for the ceilidh at the College, and we’ve found our new home away from home. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Jenn. Mary Ellen (from Sydney) and Rosemary (from Ontario).

The little touches, like the local soap, helped us feel right at home. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the property was lovely, and breakfast was fantastic. The hosts were amazing and friendly too. My parents and I stayed for one night while touring the Maritimes. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone heading out to Baddeck. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
