L'Amanda

Inside, the place was clean, roomy, and had what we needed to cook, apart from the food itself. The bathroom was comfortable and well equipped, and the owner was very friendly, so we did enjoy our stay. Still, it felt more like the owners' basement than the cottage we thought we were renting. The photos suggested we had the lower balcony only, where we could hear the owners talking upstairs, just as we could hear footsteps and everyday noise while inside. Getting to the front door would be difficult, and potentially dangerous, for anyone with limited mobility. The fire pit also seemed risky, and the chairs were tied down so they wouldn't fall off the cliff. With kids, I think I would have spent the weekend feeling stressed.
