Days Inn by Wyndham Saint John New Brunswick

The accessible shower setup was the best my mom has experienced so far, and Dove products were very nice. The bed in her room was a bit too high for her, while mine was fine. It was handy to set the room temperature individually, and the staff were great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and there was a nice lounge area. There were quite a few little facility glitches, though. Room cards often stopped working, leaving us unable to get back into the pool or room. Breakfast items and the juice machine weren’t replenished promptly, and tables weren’t clean. With more attention to those details, I’d stay again.

After two weeks travelling around the US and trying different Wyndham hotels, the Saint John Days Inn has been the best so far by far. The pricier places were surprisingly the most disappointing. This one was clean and spacious, with a quiet room, friendly professional staff, working WiFi, and a breakfast that was actually good. Can’t beat it.

Dustin and the front desk staff were fantastic, and the renovated pool was big, deep, and warm, which is rare these days. The hotel is close to downtown, though there isn’t much nearby, the area isn’t the best, and there’s no view. Road paving was going on out front. We stayed one night instead of two. It’s an older hotel that’s been spruced up. Our room was small but tidy. Breakfast was okay, though the juice was out and I had to clean our own table. The coffee was good and available 24/7.

The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. It’s convenient for nearby attractions and essential services, and the price felt like good value. There’s some room to improve the amenities and general upkeep, but I still had a pleasant, enjoyable stay.
