Chalet Le Semeur

We loved wandering around the little bridge, stream, forest, and wildlife nearby. The cottage feels like a peaceful, cheerful escape, and the owner shares her advice with a warm smile. It’s also just steps from La Mauricie National Park, with its lakes, canoeing, hikes, swimming, and wildlife viewing. Her breakfasts, or lunches in Quebec terms, were a treat, full of delicious flavors. A welcoming little corner of paradise.

Anne Hélène's breakfasts deserve a special mention, they were wonderful. The cottage is a peaceful, well-equipped fit for two, with lots of parking. It’s ideally placed for visiting La Mauricie National Park and the area around it. We’d definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was excellent, and the cottage was extremely clean. It’s small, but the kitchen and bathroom have everything needed. Set in a quiet, intimate spot beside a stream, it would be lovely to return with my partner, or even come alone for a week-long retreat.

We spent a quiet evening relaxing on the small private terrace, and every detail seemed geared toward making the stay enjoyable. The welcome was lovely, the chalet was great, and the homemade breakfast was delicious. This was easily our favorite place to stay on our Quebec road trip. Thanks for such a nice visit!
