Ray Lyn Motel

The people serving us were great, and the motel was clean and quiet. I stayed just one night but would definitely come back, even for another single night.

We had our three children and my daughter’s dog over for a barbecue and a visit, and the BBQ area gave us just the space we needed. This was our second stay while visiting my youngest daughter in Trail. The owner is so friendly and accommodating, and really makes an effort to help guests feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms are spotless, and I love that there’s no carpet because it makes them feel even cleaner. We’ll definitely keep staying here when we visit our daughter, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, quiet, comfortable place with friendly people.

Even though the room was so close to the highway, it was quiet once the door was shut. I’d recommend this place, especially for the price. The owner answered all my questions politely, despite the many emails and arrangements involved. This was a medical trip, which wasn’t one of the options for “What kind of trip was it?” I emailed the hotel owner five times by my estimate, though it was at least three, because I had a lot of questions. In my first email I said honestly that if they couldn’t accommodate my Dad and me, I’d still write a good review for being truthful. They were able to meet everything that mattered most. The owner did say they couldn’t guarantee we’d be checked out by 8:10AM, since they start work at 8 and I might have to wait if someone was ahead of us. She suggested booking elsewhere if that was a problem, but we worked it out. I paid on arrival and left the keys in the box.

The staff were friendly, and the room was spacious with a clean, comfortable bed. Amenities are only a couple minutes away by car. I’ll definitely stay here again.
