The building’s outside doesn’t give you the right impression. Inside, the updated rooms are really nice and clean, and the staff are helpful. There’s plenty of parking, even for larger vehicles, plus lots of places to eat within walking distance. They also have a pleasant lounge serving beer and wine. I’ll return.

Everything we needed was just a few blocks away, from coffee shops and pharmacies to the incredible Ferraro grocery store. The gorgeous Columbia river is right behind the hotel, with a nice riverside walk and the suspension bridge nearby. It’s dog friendly, too. We had a wonderful stay, with clean, comfortable rooms and staff who were all so friendly and accommodating.

The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were very nice and helpful. They seemed to spend a lot of time with guests, though the hotel looked mostly empty, maybe eight guests at most. There isn’t much in the way of amenities: no restaurant, pool, hot tub, or breakfast, since there’s no kitchen. One side looks out at the mountains, while the other faces a huge factory. I’d rather stay in Rossland, but if you need to be in Trail, the Best Western Plus there has a kitchen.

Kathryn and Adrian made me feel welcome right away. My suite was much bigger than I expected for the price, with a river view, included parking, and a really quiet room. I’ve extended my stay to as many as three nights because it’s so comfortable and good value. The updated furnishings are modern and soothing, and the relaxing music adds a nice touch.
