The rooms felt fresh and bright, and everything was very clean. Our group of 10 riders could park right outside each room, which was handy. After stops in Bancroft and Calabogie, we finished our three-night motorcycle tour here in Barry’s Bay. It was peaceful, the beds were decent, and the owner had made some nice upgrades. We liked it better than the other places we stayed on our four-day ride from Barrie.

The owner was so friendly, honest, and helpful, which put me at ease since I’m cautious about booking motels for my family. We had a newly renovated two-double room that wasn’t shown online, with crisp clean sheets, comfortable mattresses, and a spotless upgraded bathroom with a large walk-in shower. There was also a sitting area with a table, working mini fridge and microwave, AC, coffee maker, and smart TV. I was glad there was no carpet. The motel is under new ownership, and the owner is still working on renovations. It was just right for our one-night stay, with Madawaska Cafe, Metro grocer, and Le Belge Euro Bistro a short drive away.

We were caught out by how early everything in town shuts, and realized we were hungry after 8 PM. The owners kindly offered to bake us a pizza, so we didn’t have to go to bed hungry. That generosity really stood out. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well looked after, and the hospitality was warm and attentive throughout. Highly recommend!

We had an easy check-in and check-out, thanks to the friendly, helpful people there. The rooms were clean and decently appointed, and there’s a screened gazebo where you can sit without bugs during the witching hour. Good value just outside Barry's Bay.

It’s a roadside motel, not the Delta Royal York, but it was clean, the beds were nice, and the guy running it was really kind. He even left a towel on my bike so I could dry the seat. This was the only accommodation we found nearby that didn’t seem shady or like it was gouging tourists. It’s in a tea nice spot too, so if you’re around Barry’s Bay, check it out.
