Bay Vista Motel

We loved how peaceful it was, set well back from the road, with a beautiful view. The location is excellent, the pool was great and very clean, and we enjoyed the breakfast and fresh coffee each morning. We stayed four nights with our infant son, and they provided a pack and play. Bay Vista isn’t fancy, but it had what we needed to be comfortable. We just got home and are already happy to say we’ll stay here again.

We only meant to book one night at Bay Vista Motel, but liked it so much that we added another the next morning. It’s just minutes from PEI National Park, with lovely scenery all around. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable. The owner and staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the service felt thoughtful. Breakfast was a nice way to start the day. We’d love to come back for a few more days. Highly recommended!

The staff were a real highlight during our two nights in mid-June with family. They were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the place is quiet with lots of greenery. It’s about a kilometer from the Cavendish Boardwalk, so a good base for exploring Cavendish. We found it excellent value and had what we needed, as long as you’re not expecting luxury. The property is charming but dated, and our room looked a little worn. The TV was small and off-center. Breakfast was decent and appreciated, though not outstanding. There aren’t many amenities, and the pool was still being maintained, so we couldn’t use it; it was due to reopen later. Nothing was particularly bad, and I’d recommend it if you want somewhere basic, quiet, and budget-friendly.

Our room had a sweet little porch with two chairs, nice for sitting outside after the kids were in bed. The yard has swings and a small play structure for younger children. Rooms are dated, but clean, and ours had a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was clean too, with a nice tub and shower. There’s a pool, breakfast, and laundry for a fee, plus other amenities we didn’t try, including a fire pit and BBQ. Great location and really lovely staff.
