The cottage visit started badly with a strong, stale smoke smell as soon as we walked in. The cups still had dollar store price tags on them, so they hadn’t been washed, and the curtains had holes. For an overpriced inn, the basic upkeep was disappointing. We couldn’t find anyone at the front desk. When we called, he brushed us off. The dishwasher immediately leaked all over the floor and couldn’t be used for the rest of the trip. It was 11 at night when it started leaking. The manager, who is also housekeeping, said he’d clean up the water. We told him we had already done that, but we never said everything was fine. His response was dismissive: he said housekeeping had never noticed a problem, which made it sound like we had made it up or caused it ourselves. The TV barely worked either. We spent 20 minutes fiddling with the wires to find the one exact position that got a signal. Between the poor maintenance and defensive, unhelpful management, I can’t recommend this place. The manager needs to work on his customer service. It’s gone downhill. After the owners’ reply, I can safely say: DO NOT STAY HERE.

We brought our two small dogs and Ragdoll cat for a stay from June 20-25 2025. This place works perfectly for pet owners. The floors have no carpets, so cleanup is quick and easy. I really appreciate that they accept cats too, since many hotels don’t. 👍

A peaceful place to unwind, with affordable prices and a family-friendly feel. Our room was spotless and spacious, and the lake view was stunning. The hospitality, cleanliness, and views were all top-notch. A perfect lakeside getaway at the Lake View Inn Suites, highly recommend it for an enjoyable stay!

The lake is only a 30 second walk away, and the views are scenic. The rooms were clean, the pool was well looked after, and the other guests all seemed to be having a good time. I’d recommend this place to anyone travelling to Osoyoos. We arrived much later than expected after a stressful drive, and the hard-working staff took great care of us. 10/10.

We got the apartment, which had a clean kitchen and enough utensils. The rooms were clean too, with a great bed and bedding, and both AC and heating. I noticed the pool was covered for the season. Management was friendly and available after hours when we asked. We stayed over a shoulder season long weekend. It’s a quiet spot just across the road from the lake beach, close to the city centre and restaurants.
