Sundance Resort

We loved our two-night stay in suite 308A and would happily come back. The pool deck has a phenomenal view, and from the room we could see the Okanagan mountains and valleys, along with a lovely sunset. The resort is right beside the Bullet Express chair, so it only takes a quick hop to get up the mountain. There’s also a games and lounge area, steam room, small gym, heated pool, and two outdoor public hot tubs. The suite had everything we needed in the kitchen, including a coffee maker, kettle, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, microwave, and sink, as well as dish soap, a sponge, kitchen towels, and salt and pepper. One downside was the heat. With a south-facing room and only a small part of the window opening, it got quite warm, and there wasn’t much ventilation. The front desk can provide a fan, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Our bed was also a bit worn in and uncomfortable, though I understand units may differ.

I spent a month here and got to know the place pretty well. The staff at the front desk and in maintenance were amazing, especially Craig. The hot tubs and pool with its slide are a necessity, though I just wish they opened before 1pm! It’s also super convenient for the Bullet lift and an easy walk to town. 6/5 stars.

When our luggage was delayed by two days, the staff kept tracking it, worked to get it delivered, and stayed in touch with us the whole time. They went above and beyond whenever we needed help. The resort itself is great too. After a day on the hill, the pool, hot tubs, games rooms, movie theater, and steam room kept us occupied. I’d highly recommend staying here in Big White.

The shuttle was our favourite part. We used it a lot to visit local friends, and the drivers were friendly, outgoing, and awesome. The location is close to Village, check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean, nice, and easy to get to from skiing, with lockers for our gear. There’s underground parking, two outdoor hot tubs, and a large heated pool. We stayed five nights and will definitely stay here again when we visit Big White. Thanks for making it enjoyable.
