Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Regina by IHG

Finding a hotel room that works with my Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is often difficult, since fragrances or cleaning products can make it hard for me to breathe. Christiana listened carefully when I first contacted the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Regina, and brought in General Manager Niza to help with my disability accommodation. Niza arranged for maintenance to remove a block from the window so it could open fully and let in more fresh air. I really appreciated that level of care from her and the team, who were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. My experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, had been very different. I had planned to stay there, but the manager and staff showed little interest in accommodating me. Prince tried to help, but his manager wouldn't let me reserve a room on the condition that I could use it. It was disappointing, especially since both hotels are part of the same chain. At the Regina location, 1800 Prince of Wales Street, the staff made sure I had a room that worked for me. I had a smooth, comfortable stay. Thank you to Christiana, Niza, and everyone there.

The pool was my one real complaint: it was small, cold, and could use a proper cleaning. Otherwise, this picky hotel guest was satisfied. Our room was spacious and clean, with mattress protectors, and the beds were good. We were there on a busy weekend, but it stayed quiet at night and we slept well. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful, and quick to respond.

Breakfast was served in the hotel's restaurant, with a deal for children to eat free and adults paying $10. We stayed as a family in a spacious, clean, lovely King-size suite. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

During -40 weather, we realized we'd accidentally booked the wrong night. Avani at the front desk helped us find another room at the same price, and we were so grateful. The location was great, and our room was clean and comfortable. Service was excellent, and we'd definitely stay again.
