Beaverlodge Motor Inn

The place is on the older side, but it was kept clean. The staff were as nice as you could ask for, and I'd definitely stay here again.

The food and location were both great. The rooms could use a proper upgrade, even though the last one was done a few years ago. Also, the service staff could be a bit more courteous to people staying for work, including when they come in to clean the rooms.

The room was neat and clean, and the bath was quite nice, with hot water and strong pressure. Staff were friendly, and the in-house restaurant served above-average food. There's also a pub almost right against the building, though my colleague paid around $50 for a six-pack there. The downsides added up: at $640 a week, it seemed expensive for a small town like Beaverlodge. The fire alarms went off intermittently from about 12:50 to 1:30 a.m. on Mon Jan 22 2024, which wasn't pleasant. I couldn't get the wifi to work, couldn't find any USB plugs, and there weren't many powered receptacles. The TV only had one channel, ABC?

The hallway leading to the rooms looked a little concerning after the very nice front lobby, but it wasn't too bad. I was nervous about booking after reading the other reviews, then was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and looked very good, and the price was reasonable.
