This was my second year staying here. For a cheap motel where you only need a few hours of sleep, it's fine. The rooms are dim, and there's no cable TV, just an antenna. We didn't encounter bed bugs either year, and it was peaceful at night, though that could vary from night to night depending on the clientele. Service was better last year. This time they undercharged me by mistake, then called an hour after check-in while I was driving into Montreal. I said I'd settle it at checkout on Sunday, after my two-day stay, but they called four times and knocked on my door twice. When I went to pay the difference, the man said they kept bothering me because of homeless people and drug dealers. Really? I also saw the owner's reply to a review saying good customers are non-smokers. I'm a smoker, but I went outside, picked up my butts, and cleaned the room before leaving. My parents taught me to be respectful, so does smoking make me a bad customer? They've lost an annual customer over the horrible service and harassment about $44.

The sheets were the last straw. When I pulled them back, there were more than 3-4 strands of hair on the bed and pillows. We went to Walmart to buy sheets and shampoo, among other things. The place was dark, dirty, dated, and full of spiders. The old light fixtures were broken or had no bulbs, so the rooms were really dim. There was no shampoo, hair dryer, iron, etc. It wasn't worth the money at all, and it's about 42 min from old port Montreal. We were just passing through and booked at the last minute.

For $130, you get what you pay for. There was no microwave, the fridge didn't work, and the customer service was rude. Otherwise, good luck with the internet. The upside is that it's near a plaza where you can get a Subway.

The room was comfortable and had plenty of space, with a fan, air conditioning, a nice bathroom, and a little TV with interesting channels. The owners were nice, too. When I asked, they gave me a microwave.

We stayed just one night because we had to. Next time, even sleeping in the car sounds better. Never again. It was expensive for nothing, very old and not clean, and there was no customer service at all. They were rude when answering the phone. Worst motel ever.
