I spent most of the summer working in Blind River, Ontario, and staying at the campground. The grounds were clean and beautifully maintained, and the washrooms and showers were always kept clean. The other guests were polite and friendly. Wayne and his son Tyler were both friendly and knew the area well. They made my stay comfortable and a great experience. I’ll be back soon. Hands down, the best place to stay in the area.

We’ve stayed here a couple of times and had a quiet room at the back, even with the Trans-Canada right there. In the evening, we enjoyed walking by the river across the street to Mississauga Falls. The rooms were clean, and the fridge was the quietest I’ve come across in a motel room in a while.

We booked a “pet friendly” room weeks ahead, then after an 8 hour drive were told they don’t accept cats. The person at the desk was very rude. Maybe they should just say they’re dog friendly.

We were able to bring our dog, which mattered most to us. We only stayed one night this time, but everything was okay and next time we’ll stay longer 😉. I also liked how friendly the staff at reception were 🔥🙂. We went fishing across the street.

We had lots of open field to toss a Frisbee, which was a good way to keep the many Northern Ontario mosquitoes away 😉. The sunset from the Motel is absolutely beautiful, and we’re looking forward to coming back. We pitched a tent and slept comfortably and quietly, even with the highway nearby. The bathrooms and showers were clean and free of bugs. The staff were delightful and kind. I love a family-run business.
