We booked a room with a rear deck, but didn’t get the room we’d been promised. They charged the room to our credit card before we arrived and refunded only half the cost. There were stains on the mattress cover. My advice is to read the reviews before booking.

The location is convenient, right across from downtown Blind River, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. For a small-town motel, it was better than some places I’ve stayed in bigger cities. The beds were comfortable, the rooms nice, and I’d stay again. There were a couple of minor issues: mold in the nightstand and a hole in the desk chair. I’m giving it 4 Stars, and would give 5 if those issues were addressed.

The management clearly cares about the property, and it was much quieter than the big chains nearby. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a motel, but this place exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the price was excellent value. I’ll definitely stay here again.

It feels safe, clean, and cozy here. I’m close to the river, which is a plus, and restaurants are near enough too. I’m having a good time in Blind River.

The owner is great, very attentive, and the room had everything I needed after a hard day’s work. It was small but cozy, and I loved the fireplace. I’ll stay again.
