5 Bed Blue Mountain Loft

Our family came together for the holidays and were glad we found this chalet. At 159 Settlers Way there was enough space for our large family to sleep and relax without crowding each other, and the village was a manageable 15-minute walk away. The property was well maintained, hot tub included. The mini fridges on the main floor near some of the bedrooms didn’t work, or maybe they weren’t plugged in. Aside from that, no complaints. I’d recommend it to other large groups.

We were 14 people, and there was room both to gather in the family room or backyard and to have some privacy. The chalet is well built, spacious, and has plenty of rooms for a large group. The private beach was a highlight, with clear, warm water, lots of chairs, and a nice volleyball net. It’s a four to five minute drive from the chalet, although the pictures made it seem like it was right out back. Still, it was definitely worth it and made our stay much better. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and pots, and there’s a nice dining table indoors as well as one on the deck. Bring pillowcases and bed sheets, and extra blankets for anyone sleeping in the basement. It gets chilly down there, though that was nice during the hot summer. A few things the cleaning crew missed stood out as soon as we arrived: the garbage under the kitchen sink was full, and there were some things left around the house and deck from a previous stay, including socks and a child’s bathing suit. Nothing major, but it was noticeable.

The easy access to all the ski runs and the quick, friendly replies whenever we needed something made the stay really pleasant. The timing and organization were very good, which mattered since this was our first time booking through the site and we were a fairly big group. We enjoyed it enough to decide to go again this year. Views on one side of the main level look toward the mountains, with woods on the other, which made for a relaxing stay. The chalet is nicely appointed, and our group of 10 fit comfortably. Its open-plan living area gave us room to spend time together without feeling cramped.
