The Egan Inn

The John Egan room was wonderful, with a clean, comfortable room, an excellent bed, and a small kitchenette. Fifth Chute coffee was provided, and the coffee shop downstairs had amazing cappuccinos and breakfast sandwiches with egg, bacon, and cheese on a scone. This is a lovely boutique-style hotel on the Bonnechere River, not an average place to stay. Getting in was simple with the coded entry, and there were no keys to keep track of.

A quaint, very clean Airbnb in a building with a lot of history. The bathroom really needs proper curtains, though.

We really enjoyed the food at the Axe and Paddle while we were visiting this cute town. At the Egan Inn, our Bonnechere Suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and our window looked out over the river at the Fifth Chute. A lovely stay.

The room was large and so clean, the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. It was quiet, and we could control the temperature. There was a fridge and coffeemaker, but no microwave, which I didn’t miss. The owner and staff were very friendly. The king bed felt too hard for me, though I still slept well, and the TV sat too low to watch from bed. We enjoyed our stay and I’d love to return.
