The views are great, and the home-cooked burgers and fries are delicious. The rooms are retro and quiet, with a microwave, fridge, toaster, dishes, an electric fireplace, and a Firefly TV with Prime and YouTube. The furniture is old, and the room could use more attention to dusting and cleaning the tub, faucets, and counters. If that doesn’t bother you, settle in and enjoy the view. It’s a good place to get away from the city and sleep, but I’d say get out and explore too. Alexandra Lodge down the road is historic, built before the founding of CANADA, aka Kanada. The owner enjoys talking about its history and welcomes some help if people are willing.

We made a last-minute call to stay overnight in Boston Bar when the roads were getting dark and sketchy. The lovely man at the Might Fraser booked us a room, and the complimentary drinks were a really nice surprise. They made our unconventional Christmas Eve much less stressful.

I was lucky there was a vacancy after the head-on collision on Trans Canada Highway left us among the cars stalled on the road yesterday. The room was spacious, tidy, and clean overall, and parking right out front was convenient. I appreciated the complimentary drink too. The three of us paid $150. Sadly, Fat Jacks closed around 6 or 6:30 pm just as we arrived, so I couldn’t order dinner. The portable AC was extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep. There was no mesh screen on the window, so I couldn’t leave it open.

Young was such a kind, wonderful host, and the room was spacious and comfortable. I had a great time here with my good friend Julianne and my two pups. The food from the Fat Jack was delicious, too. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re coming to Boston Bar. I’ll absolutely be back on my next visit. 5/5 stars!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been here for work for just over a month, and it’s been quiet and comfortable. The rooms and beds are great, the staff are lovely, and Young, the owner, is an absolute gem. Fat Jacks, the attached restaurant, serves great food. I can’t say enough good things about the place. If you need somewhere to stay in Boston Bar, stay at the Mighty Fraser.
