The suite had everything we needed, including an iron, hair dryer, microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, so it would work for a longer stay too. There are a few natural viewpoints nearby, and it was easy to get to restaurants and familiar food chains. We stayed one night in October and had a great time. The building felt new and was very clean, our room was spacious, and the amenities were thoughtfully arranged. The kids liked the pool, and breakfast was delicious with generous refills. Service was excellent.

Vatisha made the visit feel easy and welcoming. She speaks French, which helped me a lot, and she also gave me tips for getting around Brampton and suggested some great places to eat. I came from Ottawa for a family function and found the hotel comfortable and really nice. I appreciated her kindness and would definitely stay here again.

The one bright spot was the young man who checked us in. He was wonderful. The rest of the stay was a letdown: our room wasn’t serviced, the breakfast hot food was stone cold, and the pool was painfully cold. My daughter-in-law was also accosted by a beggar in the parking lot. After we got back from the funeral we were attending, I called the desk about the room. The man asked, “Did you ask for it to be serviced?” Before I could respond, he said housekeeping had gone for the day and nothing could be done. He didn’t seem to care. The next morning, the great guy who had checked us in apologized, but it didn’t make up for it. I’ve spent hundreds of nights at Hiltons. I’ll think twice before staying again.

The kitchenette, safe, walk-in shower, comfortable beds, and pool were all nice, and our family of six fit comfortably. Parking is free. Breakfast is free too, though the choices are limited. I’d like more healthy options for vegans, especially non-dairy milk. I was also surprised that none of the shampoo or conditioner bottles had been filled. One location note: when you drive over, you’ll see it’s behind the Hilton Garden Inn. There’s no airport shuttle from this hotel. Sorry for the photos, I took them after the fact.
