Monte Carlo Inn - Brampton Suites

The way the cleaner spoke to my wife ruined what was meant to be a special birthday stay. She rudely told her to pick up the pizza box and use the broom to clean the room herself, essentially asking her to do the cleaner’s job. That was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Guests shouldn’t be expected to do housekeeping, and the incident showed a real lack of training, courtesy, and basic customer service. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff behavior and training. We stayed on December 25 to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The stay had been pleasant, and we tried to be respectful guests. At checkout, staff asked us to remove the birthday balloons, and we did so without any issue. We also made sure the room was properly cleaned before leaving.

The rooms felt welcoming and comfortable, and were exceptionally clean. The front desk staff were pleasant and friendly. It was our first time at a Monte Carlo Inn, and my husband and I were both very impressed. The entrance looks classy when you walk in, and the rooms were just right. They wouldn’t let us wait in the lobby and sent us outside, telling us to come back in an hour. I’d asked for early check-in, but the service was awful: they said they couldn’t do anything until 2 PM. That’s no way to treat guests. I’d never recommend this place. Worst experience ever.

The room was impeccably clean, apart from a few small blemishes on the wall by the bed. The bed had been fully made before I took the pictures. It was an affordable Sunday night stay, and the front desk staff were polite and very friendly at both check-in and checkout. I’ll come back.
