Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Brossard

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Montreal Brossard was really good. The hotel was quiet and very clean, so I could relax and sleep well. I especially appreciated the modern clothes iron in the room. It made getting ready quick and easy. I'd happily stay here again.

It was my first time staying here, and I got a really restful night's sleep. The room was clean, the atmosphere quiet, and staff were helpful. My only complaint is the lack of parking by the check-in desk. You have to double park, rush inside, and hope you don't get a ticket while you're away. I'd stay again.

The rooms were modern and very clean, and the service was really nice. I only missed having anything in the room, complimentary or otherwise, and there was no room service. A bottle of water would've been handy when I was already in my pajamas and didn't want to go down to reception to buy one. The hotel connects indoors to services and restaurants, so I could have a nice dinner without going out into the cold.

As a loyal Marriott customer with more than 115 nights stayed in the last year, I was very disappointed. The kind gentleman who finally came up and moved me to another room apologized, and I appreciate that. But if KRYSTEL is working at the front desk, please run. I speak only English, and I felt I was treated poorly. As a titanium member, I was put on the 10th floor as a supposed upgrade, but the room was the most basic kind, with one king bed and nothing else. I later found out I was the only person on that floor. The heat was cranked to 80 degrees F° throughout, and I couldn't change it because hotel management had locked the floor's thermostat. Room service came up and said there was nothing they could do. After an hour and a half of complaining, they moved me to the 6th floor, which had AC and the room upgrade I was originally supposed to get, with a living room and bedroom. Another one-star review from two months earlier described the same issue. Huge thumbs down for Marriott Brossard.
