The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were spacious. It's along a major road, with lots of shops and easy access to the TransCanada highway, and the price is among the best. The carpets had stains and the rooms weren't the cleanest. That wouldn't stop me from coming back, but if you want an impeccable place to stay, this probably isn't it.

It was quiet and central, even on a busy dance wkd, when there were only about half a dozen guests. The staff were welcoming, and the breakfast of bread, fruit, cereal, waffles, and drinks was satisfactory. Our room was clean, comfortable enough, and everything worked, with nothing broken. The carpet still had some of that old smoke smell, though. We'd stay again. Good value for a budget, as long as you don't expect the Hilton.

The rooms were nice, and the staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful. When noisy guests arrived at 4am, staff told them to quiet down, and called again when they started up. Still, I didn't get much sleep after they woke my baby. My wife saw three brown bugs on the bed, and we killed them. We had our five-month-old and our dogs with us, so now we're worried about what they were.

I was traveling for work, and this was the worst dive I've seen. Sewer gas filled the room, masked by a cheap plug-in air freshener, and the air quality was barely tolerable. I've stayed in low-end places and can accept lower standards, but blood-like marks on the tub, shower curtain, lampshade, and removable mattress cover were unacceptable. They claimed the marks were permanent stains from water, rust, or dye. Wearing gloves, we used bleach and a sponge, and everything came off the tub easily. Having to clean and disinfect your own room at check-in is ridiculous. We bought our own bedding for the one night. At checkout, the charges were $35/night higher than the quote, and they hadn't told us until it was too late. If every other hotel hadn't been fully booked, we'd have left as soon as we unlocked the door.
