Motel Capri & Suites

I never even stepped into the room after opening the door. There was a bad musty smell, the walls were old and discolored, and the bed covers and sheets looked old. The receptionist had told me the room was ready, but it hadn’t been made up at all. Not my kind of place, and it’s pretty shameful to be this cheap.

Even finding a place to sleep here was disappointing. The hallways reeked of cigarettes, the rooms were dirty, and there were holes in the walls. Room service barely answered the phone. This motel is beyond horrible, and anyone expecting comfort or luxury will be let down. Don’t waste your time or money when there are better motels and hotels around. A disgusting experience, 1/5.

We booked for the Grand Prix because it cost less than other hotels, but it felt overpriced for what we got. The online photos are misleading. Our room was clean and the bedding acceptable, while the hallway and outside were scary, with holes in the walls, ripped wallpaper, and dirty halls. They wanted payment upfront, so make sure you see the room before paying. We wouldn’t return.

I felt unsafe and only made it through the night because I was too sore and tired after working all day at the Oktoberfest in Repentigny. Everything smelled awful and was filthy, moldy, cracked, old, and horrible. The bathroom was dirty, the floor disgusting, and the towel hanger was loose and fell. The door had no lock, the card didn’t work, and the air conditioning was broken and blocked by the curtain. There was noise in the halls all night, and the people staying there seemed very weird. A pool dance bedroom across from mine made the noise even worse. I can’t even list all the problems. This was the worst experience of my life, beyond unacceptable for a place called a motel. Seriously, if it’s the only place left, sleep in your car. Don’t go.
