Guest Suites on Benvenuto

It’s been years since we stayed here for a wedding, back in 2014 or 2015, but our family still remembers Benvenuto. It was a simple cottage style place, clean, beautiful, and relaxing, and the garden and animals in the field nearby made our mornings special. My three children are grown now, but they haven’t forgotten it and still hope we can visit again someday. Best of all was the warm, delicious homemade breakfast, nicely prepared and brought each morning in a basket. A young family with small children was hosting us. It’s a beautiful, unforgettable place. ❤

The grounds are lovely, with pretty plants and trees, and Butchart Gardens is so close. The room was beautiful, too. Pete and Stephanie are really nice, and Pete brought breakfast right to the room, including fresh eggs from their own chickens. We had a fantastic time at Benvenuto Bed and Breakfast and would definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

A quiet area with nice modern rooms and comfy furnishings. We loved staying here, and breakfast was brought right to our room. Butchart Gardens is about a mile away, an easy walk. For anyone using public transit, the 81 dropped us about .1mile/200 meters from the B&B. We took the 75 to Victory. The 31 went to the Royal Oak Exchange, then the 75 brought us back to the B&B. Getting to and from the ferry by bus was easy too.

The place didn’t match what was advertised. The tenants in the adjoining house had a very loud dog that was left unattended. I don’t believe my room was cleaned or sanitized to the COVID standards I expected at the time, and I didn’t appreciate other guests coming and going at all hours of the night. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxing to rent, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
