Motel Champlain

For three adults needing just one night, this was probably the best-priced option in the area. The room, beds, and bathroom were clean. The shower was odd, almost as if it were part of the floor. The location is tricky: slow down as you get close or, if you miss it, you'll have to drive over a kilometer to loop back.

We were in Brossard for a week because of a family emergency, and the staff were incredibly accommodating. This quaint little motel is family-owned and run, fully renovated, and the pictures match the rooms exactly. Everything was super clean and quiet, and the staff were extremely friendly. I'd highly recommend it to anyone traveling with pets.

Good value for a motel. The rooms are clean but small, with what you need for a short stay or a few hours of sleep. On my second stay, dated 04/15/25, I came to Montreal for a quick visit and they had rooms available. I'm a big guy, 5'10 / 1m80cm and 250 lbs / 125kg, and the small bathroom made using the restroom a bad experience. It also smelled of cigarette smoke, despite the no-smoking sign and $100 fine. There was a coffee machine, fridge, and microwave. I took a picture. Those amenities are very welcome these days. COFFEE!!!

I'm furious and feel completely betrayed. Motel Champlain charged me upfront for three nights, then took those nights from me without providing service. The room was filthy, reeked of smoke, and was uninhabitable. Because of my medical conditions, I couldn't stay there, but they refused a refund or even an explanation. The woman I dealt with and the other staff kept every penny for all three nights without justification or remorse. It was a nightmare, with no apology. This is the worst kind of dishonesty and fraud. Don't trust them. They are scammers and liars.
