Coast Metro Vancouver Hotel

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the renovated room was clean and well cared for. I thought the hotel offered good value. It sits where two very busy streets meet, which makes it handy for the main roads but also means a lot of traffic noise. A room that doesn’t face the street directly might be quieter.

My dad had just returned from a long trip and needed somewhere to stay, but I couldn’t put him up or spend time finding a place. Luckily, Coast was right off the highway, so I could easily come and go to help him. We booked one night while we figured things out. The next day, the staff helped him extend to a week, and when he found a place a few days later, they let him cancel early. They’d helped him stay longer at a reasonable price, but still handled the early cancellation without any frustration. They were easygoing and accommodating throughout. The service from Sam, Ali and the manager, whom I never met, was phenomenal. Thanks for all the help, including what you did behind the scenes. I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, including some with five-star ratings and awful service, but this place stood out for its atmosphere, cleanliness and care. Highly recommend it!

The lobby coffee machine was stellar, and the staff were attentive. Our clean, spacious room was perfect for a short stay, though you could see it had been renovated or had some work done. We were right by the highway, so there was some road noise and the room shook when big trucks went past. We didn’t mind, but it could bother a very sensitive sleeper. For tourists, I’d strongly suggest renting a car since the hotel is fairly far from the city.

The rooms were modern and spotless, with fresh-feeling amenities that seemed thoughtfully arranged. Staff were professional and welcoming, and they left complimentary water and holiday chocolates, a lovely little touch. The location made it easy to get around. We had a wonderful stay, found it great value, and would recommend it for short or longer visits.
