Haddon House

Haddon House made our week in Vancouver for our son’s wedding a lovely experience. Seven of us stayed in the restored heritage home, with plenty of room inside and in the backyard and on the deck. It’s centrally located, and Deer Lake, one of my favourite walks in Burnaby, is only a few minutes away on foot. There are four guest bedrooms, two with ensuite bathrooms, and three and a half bathrooms total. The beds were comfortable, and the quiet neighborhood meant we all slept well. The living spaces were well furnished and decorated but still felt like home. The kitchen had everything for family meals, and when we arrived, Johannes had already stocked the fridge with breakfast items and more. There was also a pantry, spice cupboard, tea and coffee cupboard, and a ready-to-use BBQ. Marie-Louise and Johannes were available for questions without intruding. We also loved meeting their two lovely, well-behaved goldens, who were very happy to get tummy rubs. I’d recommend this rental for a gathering. Thank you, Marie-Louise and Johannes, and puppies.
