We stay in plenty of mom-and-pop motels, and this one ranks among the best. It was clean, updated, and really comfortable. The little extras stood out too: a Keurig, tea, an air cleaner, a bedside charging station (yay), full-size shampoo, conditioner and body wash, plus wine glasses. And there's a liquor store right across the street. We'd definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this little motel. The staff were so friendly, the room was super clean, and it was great value in a handy location. We'll definitely come back when we're passing through again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Those cookies were a lovely extra. The room was spacious, spotless, and updated, with laminate flooring, a comfortable bed, and a cute little fridge. There was also a Keurig and a microwave. Thanks so much for the great service.

Easy check-in and checkout, and the staff were really friendly. Our room felt cozy and was very clean, with a comfy bed and an awesome shower head. We'd happily stay here again.

Michael at the front desk was welcoming and had good suggestions for things to do and places to visit. We wish we'd taken his dinner recommendation on our last night, since we can't recommend the Bear's Claw Lodge Restaurant. The Sunset Motel is centrally located, within walking distance of a market and Tim Hortons. It's a low-cost place, but our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. We had a great stay.
