Calgary City View by Elevate Rooms

I hadn't expected much from this place, since someone else booked it for me and it wasn't normally somewhere I'd choose. It turned out to be one of the best places I've stayed. Micheline, the owner, is sincere and incredibly kind. She made me feel like family right away, and on my second night invited me to her daughter's adult birthday party. Everyone was so welcoming. Most of the guests there had stayed at the B&B before, which says a lot about the people who run it. The Olive Garden should patent its slogan: “When you're here, you're family!” I'm looking forward to coming back.

The views are breathtaking, from the Calgary skyline to the Calgary Stampede and its fireworks, all visible from the window. There's also a huge green park behind the property. The location is fantastic, and the lady who owns it with her husband is wonderful. It was well worth the price.

Micheline is a sweet French woman who makes breakfast every morning. Our room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and we liked the quiet neighborhood even though downtown is within walking distance. Such good value that we extended our stay.

The views are spectacular, and the house is perfectly placed for enjoying everything there is to do. Micheline is so sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. When I come back to Calgary, this will be my first choice.
