Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Calgary-Northeast

The room was comfortable and in good shape, and when the shower drain kept clogging at first, maintenance came quickly after I told the front desk. It was working perfectly by the next day. Breakfast was simple but had a generous range of choices; the seating was cramped and crowded that morning, probably because a large tour group was staying there. Staff handled things well, and the hotel is solid value. Just bear in mind that all the parking is uncovered surface parking, which can matter with Calgary's summer hail.

Breakfast had a great selection, and Room 107 was roomy with a queen-size bed. We got delayed on the road by a snow blizzard and checked out late, but the attendant was very understanding and accommodating. I recommend this place 101%!

For a stay of 2-3 nights, this basic hotel is a very good option. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and having checkout at noon was a nice plus. It’s close to the airport and includes a nice daily breakfast. There’s also a swimming pool and a small gym.

The breakfast was a highlight, with three hot chafer choices plus fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, and other lighter options. Staff kept everything stocked. We had no dietary restrictions, but the couple beside us, who were gluten free, spoke very positively about how accommodating the staff were. There’s coffee and hot water by reception at all hours, too. The place feels cared for, with clean, comfortable rooms and a welcoming lobby where you can borrow books or play a couple of games. Everyone we met was lovely. We didn’t get to use the pool, though we liked that it has separate closing times for minors and adults. A classic hotel stay.
