Relax Inn Collingwood

The room had a mini fridge, TV, and microwave, which was enough for an overnight stop on my way to the Spartan. The bed was hard and the shower pretty basic, but it did the job for one night.

The old-fashioned furniture didn't bother us, and although it's a little farther from Blue Mountain, I'd still stay here again. We had a good night's rest after skiing, thanks to the comfortable bed and quiet heater. It was also easy to bring our luggage straight to the room without stairs or a distant parking spot. The office lady was patient and friendly when explaining nearby things to do with my kid. Even the toilet paper seemed a cut above what some 2- or 3-star places provide. Given the relatively low online rating, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the essentials were covered.

Loved being just a few steps from the public beach, and the garden and BBQ area were great. The AC worked perfectly, the rooms were spotless, and the staff were fantastic. A friend suggested Relax Inn after their trip to Wasaga, so I gave it a try last weekend. It was even better than they said. Such a relaxing stay, highly recommend!

We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and booking somewhere else, without a refund. After the first room's AC failed and we complained about the bad smell, the front desk lady yelled at us and made getting another room difficult. She eventually gave us one after a big scene, but we found a centipede in the bed. We had booked Hotel on 04Aug 2025, and the whole experience was awful, with no customer service. I expect she'll reply to this review denying their negligence or making up some story to blame us.
