Courtyard By Marriott Calgary Downtown

The downtown area, like much of DT Calgary, can feel pretty deserted, but I never felt unsafe. This is a brand-new property with easy check-in, an excellent breakfast, and a really nice gym. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond. I recommend it without reservations.

We were only there for one night about a week ago, but the service was amazing. Inna at the front desk was especially helpful. She clearly went over the parking choices before I checked in, then explained the amenities and restaurants during check-in. She was friendly, upbeat, and glad to answer questions. Really great service, and not something you get everywhere. Thank you, Inna!

This was my second visit this year, and the service was just as good. Cyrus at the front desk, along with James and Kiran at Valet, did a great job. I appreciated getting both an early check-in and a late checkout. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the Fitness Centre is clean with plenty of good workout equipment. I’ll be back on future visits.

The lobby has a nice buzz, and the café downstairs is convenient for a quick coffee or bite. My room was modern and clean, with a comfortable bed and a decent workspace for a work trip. Staff were friendly and check-in was fast. It’s easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the river path from this very central location. Nothing flashy, just reliable and well run, and a good choice if you want to be central without paying for full luxury.
